Talc project planning and impact assessments progressing – info and discussion event on August 15, 2023

Summer is at its most beautiful, but the environmental impact assessment of the project is progressing. During the summer, fisheries surveys, depth surveys of nearby lakes and nature surveys will be supplemented.

An important part of the environmental impact assessment is also the social impact assessment. As part of this, we will organize a resident and stakeholder survey at the turn of August and September to review the views of residents and other stakeholders in the area on the project and its impacts.

We will arrange an info and discussion event on August 15, 2023, starting at 5:00 p.m., and you can participate in it on site at Tulikivi’s Suomussalmi factory or remotely.

More information about both the survey and participation in the event will continue to be available on Nordic Talc’s website.
